FNHA Indigenous Student Program EOI

The application period for the second session of the First Nations Health Authority’s Indigenous Student Program is now open!

This value-added program will provide Indigenous students—First Nations, Metis, and Inuit—with work experience, the opportunity to develop professional skills, and gain exposure with First Nations Health Care and its supporting functions across British Columbia. The goal is to match student’s education, skills, and career goals with FNHA’s various needs in a meaningful way.

The first cohort began their work term in January 2023 and FNHA is now accepting applications for the May – August 2023 session. This program will have a minimum of 10 student positions per term and the posting closes on April 3, 2023.

Please note that if the deadline has passed, FNHA will maintain an open door for applications throughout the year for later cohorts.

Students can apply via the FNHA Careers Page portal (search using ‘student’). Please include a resume, cover letter and two letters of reference (past employer, volunteer, Indigenous Leader/mentor, Elder, teacher/professor, or coach who have known them for at least 6 months) in the application.
