Splatsin offers various funding opportunities to band members living on and off-reserve. We have compiled all of our current opportunities onto one page for your convenience.
In lieu of community events and gatherings to celebrate Christmas and the New Year, Splatsin is providing both on and off-reserve band members with funding to support your household over the holidays.

On-Reserve Band Members
On-reserve members will automatically receive the funds. No application is necessary. Pick-up at the Band Administration Office (5775 Old Vernon Rd.) starting on December 17. You will be asked to sign a form acknowledging the funds were received. If you cannot pick-up your funds, they can be mailed by calling (250) 838-6496. If you are away attending school, but normally live on-reserve, you can pick up your cheque.
Off-Reserve Band Members
Off-reserve members must complete the below application form and email it to [email protected] or mail it to: Splatsin Administration, 5775 Old Vernon Rd., PO BOX 460, V0E 1V0. You can attach a direct deposit form or void cheque for prompt collection of funds, otherwise, a cheque will be mailed to the provided mailing address.

This funding is now closed for the 2020-21 school year. Check this page soon for updated forms. Funding is available to Splatsin Youth attending school. This is meant to help cover the costs of school-related expenses.

The purpose of this funding is to help to ensure that all children are able to participate in school-based and extracurricular events and activities that may have a cost attached to them.

Splatsin receives funds as legal guardian of children in its care from the federal government under a program that provides funds to parent and guardians of children, such as child tax benefits, and under Regulation No. 1 of Bylaw #3, Splatsin has a program of considering requests for Funds from individuals who are 19 or older who were in Splatsin’s care as a child. The intention of the program is to provide financial support to young adults who had been in care to help those young adults transition to a secure and healthy adulthood.
