Meet Your New Human Service Worker, Tylar!
Hi everyone!
My name is Tylar, and I am Nlaka’pamux, from the Lower Nicola Indian Band (near Merritt B.C.), where I grew up.
I first began working for the Splatsin Health Centre as reception in March of 2022, until I began my Human Service Worker Diploma in September 2022. Since then I have remained working reception coverage while in school.
I have now completed my program and am working back at the Splatsin Health Centre as a Human Service Worker as a part of the Mental Wellness team.
I will be in the office Monday to Friday and I look forward to continuing getting to know the rest of your community and supporting you in the best way I can!
