The Kamloops Fire Centre is expecting warmer weather with the potential for lightning over the coming days.Despite ongoing elevated fire activity in the northern part of the province, the Kamloops Fire Centre remains prepared and resourced to respond to any wildfire starts within its region, which includes the Secwépemc territory.To report a wildfire, or open burning violation, call 1 (800) 663-5555 toll-free or *5555 on a cell phone, or through the “Report a fire” function in the BC Wildfire Service mobile app.
