General location is within the Kootenay boundary area (Grand Forks, Slocan Valley, & Trail).
Splatsin is seeking one person to accompany Robyn Laubman, Territotial Water Manager on this course. There is no cost to attend (all travel, food, and accommodation fees covered).
The course will cover the following subjects:
• Wetland types and functions• Planning, constructing, and restoring of wetlands• Invasive Species• How to write a grant• Integrating Traditional Ecological Knowledge into your project• History of wetland drainage• Wetland invertebrate sampling• Wetland regulations
