Traditional Medicinal Project Update

The Traditional Medicinal project was established to provide, medicinal services to community members and a project model for future traditional programs. At this time, our project will be ending December 31, 2020. This is due in part to, limited funding for short term and innovative projects in the community.

The transition plan for the continuation of traditional medicinal supplies will still be available in Splatsin, through Grizzly One Stop Shop located at 5458 Baptiste Rd. However, the cost of the medicines provided will no longer be covered. If you choose to access traditional medicines from January 1, 2021 onward, you will be purchasing at your own expense or through the Splatsin Health & Wellness Fund.

We are also excited to announce that, through this project and mentorship, Splatsin Health Services has continued to fulfil Splatsin’s Vision of “working together towards independence.” Thanks to Crystal Morris for allowing us the opportunity to work together in this capacity, and we wish Crystal all the best as she transitions over to a business model.*Only regular orders will be filled. Stockpiling of orders will not be accepted
