Shuswap Falls (Scwa7will) Visit and River Raft Trip

Come join Splatsin Title & Rights and visit Shuswap Falls, the Middle Shuswap River, and the Wilsey Dam.

BC Hydro is proposing to remove Wilsey Dam to restore passage for kekasu7 (chinook) and Sqltn7uwi (sockeye) salmon upstream of the dam.

Rafting is available on a first come first serve basis for those at least 10 years old and who are comfortable with swimming and walking over rocky/slippery terrain. All safety equipment will be provided.

For those not going on the rafts, we will be touring other sites in and around Scwa7will.

Transportation is available from the Splatsin Community Centre, leaving at 9:00 a.m. and returning at 4:00 p.m.

Lunch and snacks are provided.
