• Pull the plug! It’s now illegal in B.C. to transport your watercraft with the drain plug in place.• Clean, Drain, and Dry all boats and equipment before moving between water bodies.
It’s not just about boats—infected fish, mud, and water can spread whirling disease through:• Motors• Boots and waders• Bait buckets• Swimming floats, coolers, kayaks, paddleboards, and even swimsuits.
