NIDP 2020: Online Celebrations


Connect with your community, culture and traditions by joining the virtual fun for National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21!


Splatsin’s Mental Wellness Team, along with the help of a member volunteer, have organized these virtual activities for NIPD 2020. Read the knowledge shared by Splatsin Elders about local landmarks here.

Photo Scavenger Hunt

Find and take photos of the items on the list (below). Email your top three photos to Holistic Wellness Practitioner, Jessica Kent, and tell her how many items on the list you found. There are prizes for the best photo and 10 random draw prizes.

Collage Making

Pick-up your free supplies at the Enderby Library on June 19 from 11-7 and June 20 from 10-2 or contact Splatsin Volunteer, Gloria Morgan: (250) 309-9774. You must supply a photograph for this activity. A video tutorial will be available beginning June 19 here on Facebook.

Glue your photo to the canvas then paint over the completed collage with modge podge.
