Please welcome your new Mental Wellness Worker, Carly!
Here is a message from Carly to everyone:
“Hello, my name is Carly. I am a St’at’imc woman from Lillooet; however, I grew up off-reserve in Salmon Arm.”
“I began my career in Social Work with Splatsin Stsmamlt Services in 2012, where I had the opportunity to meet and get to know some of the Splatsin community. After that I moved to Calgary where I continued working with children and families, and decided to have children of my own.”
“During the pandemic, my family and I moved back to the Okanagan to be closer to our support system. My boys are now almost 3 and 5, and most certainly keep me on my toes.”
“I am very excited to be returning to the Splatsin community as your new Mental Wellness Worker, and I look forward to meeting some of you soon! I am in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please feel free to drop in and say hello! “
