New Fire – Glanzier Creek – Being Held


NEW FIRE – BEING HELD

Way’ Splatsin Members,

Yesterday, on August 12, a new fire was discovered by Glanzier Creek near Armstrong and was suspected to be caused by a lightning strike.

This fire (K42168) has remained at 0.007 hectares and is now classified as Being Held, as of today, August 13, at 11:39 AM. This means that it is projected, based on fuel and weather conditions and resource availability, to remain within the current perimeter, control line or boundary.

The daily update for the Hullcar Mountain Fire (K41796) will be released this evening on Splatsin social media pages.
