Testing positive with a rapid take home test and a confirmation from the nurse will enact the isolation supports through First Nation Health Authority. Rapid tests are available at the Splatsin Health Centre for Splatsin community members.
COVID-19 Isolation Support
Meal support is available for status First Nations members self-isolating due to COVID-19 who test positive on a PCR or rapid take-home test.
• Fully vaccinated individuals are eligible for 5 days of meal support.• Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals are eligible for 10 days of meal support.
Given evolving provincial guidance on self-isolation requirements, effective Mar. 1, 2022 meal support funding is no longer available for individuals who are a close contact of someone who tests positive on PCR or rapid take-home test.
