Indian Child Caravan Digital Exhibition Review

What’s happening?

The Indian Residential School History and Dialogue Centre at UBC have been working with Miranda Kimbasket and Kukpi7 Wayne Christian on an upcoming online exhibition, Our Children, Our Future: The Indian Child Caravan 40 years later. The exhibition marks the fortieth anniversary of the Indian Child Caravan and celebrates the impact of the Caravan and uplifts the work of Indigenous youth, families, and communities.

The project team is looking for feedback on the exhibition from the Splatsin community to make sure that the exhibition is reflective of those who participated in the Caravan, and is telling the story of the Caravan in a community-focused way.

The Centre is inviting community members to get a sneak peek of the exhibition and provide feedback.
