Several weather models are in agreement with the current ridge of high pressure breaking down bringing a gradual end to the heat. Several weak disturbances will begin to move through the province beginning Friday, July 31, bringing back the risk of thunderstorms. A more potent upper trough is anticipated to develop Monday, August 1 or Tuesday, August 2, but the exact timing and intensity remains uncertain.
