We are pleased to introduce Illyana Christian as the newest addition to the Splatsin Recreation Team!
A Splatsin Band member, Illyana was born and raised in the Okanagan and is proud to call the valley her home. She has resided in Armstrong her whole life, and graduated from Pleasant Valley Secondary School in 2020.
After graduation, Illyana attended Capilano University in North Vancouver, enrolling in film studies where she specialized in cinematography, directing, and script writing.
Illyana has been an avid musician since she was 8 years old, and plays any instrument she can get her hands on — it’s a huge part of her life.
She is eager and excited to make timeless connections and share her love of film, soccer, and music with the youth.
Illyana is hoping to incorporate her passions into the youth program to spark new interests and form new hobbies and is more than happy to be back in her community and working with youth. Please welcome Illyana!
