A big thank you to everyone who participated in the Emergency Management Photo Contest as part of our Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan. It was inspiring to see such a great response and hear the powerful stories behind each submission.
We’re excited to announce that Deanna Cook is the winner with her stunning photo (featured below). The team was deeply moved by how this image captures the resilience of Splatsin, beautifully reflecting our landscape in the aftermath of this summer’s Hullcar Mountain fire.
Deanna’s winning photo will be featured on the cover of our Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan.
