Home / Member Engagement / Develop a Land-Based Program
Splatsin is working with the University of British Columbia Okanagan to create a land-based program framework.
The framework will help people who have been incarcerated (in jail) re-enter the community in a good way, and gain access to joining a land-based program.
First, Splatsin needs to develop a framework and outline for the program.
Our contacts at UBCO on this project are Denica Bleau (former Splatsin A&D worker, holistic wellness practitioner, counsellor, and Wellbriety facilitator) and Dr. Gabrielle Legault.
If you are interested in sharing your ideas about land-based, cultural, language and programming, please contact Denica at [email protected] or (306) 807-1964.
