Some Splatsin community members have been exposed to an individual who is COVID-19 positive. It is important to note that this individual does not live in the community nor have they visited our reserves. Splatsin Health Services (SHS) is working closely with Interior Health (IH) as they identify and notify people who the individual has been in contact with This process is known as Contact Tracing. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community, you are asked to practice these easy but important measures:
If you experience flu-like or respiratory symptoms, contact Splatsin Health Services during the week between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at (250) 838-9538. After hours, contact HealthLink BC at 811 to speak with a Registered Nurse. If your symptoms are severe, call 911.
