There are currently 0 active cases and 0 people in self-isolation in our community. Splatsin continues to operate in alert level 3 (high) due to the continued virus transmission in nearby communities.
Following the latest provincial health orders, new restrictions in place include mandatory masks at Shihiya School and all other schools, as well as no indoor dining or fitness classes. In addition to these new restrictions, these still apply:

Please think about our elders and other vulnerable community members before going against any of these restrictions over the long weekend. Many people in our community have been vaccinated, but many have not been. With cases surging throughout the province, we must continue to be diligent and protect each other from this potentially deadly virus.
Splatsin offices will be closed on Friday, April 2 and Monday, April 5 to observe Good Friday and Easter Monday respectively. If you have a non-medical emergency, contact Senior Executive Advisor, Steve Kulmatycki at (250) 309-2961.
If you experience cold or flu-like symptoms over the long weekend, self-isolate in your bedroom and call HealthLink BC at 811 to speak with a Registered Nurse.
