COVID-19 Community Update 56

Dr. Shannon McDonald, the First Nation Health Authority (FNHA) Acting Chief Medical Officer, recently sat down to talk about the importance of getting the influenza vaccine this year, especially during COVID-19. Check out this video to learn more about the flu shot and why it is important.

The Splatsin Health Centre continues to offer the flu vaccine on a drop-in basis every Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for the remainder of October. There is enough vaccines to immunize anyone who would like to be protected against the flu sickness this year. If you cannot make it during our regularly scheduled flu clinic, please contact the Health Centre to book in directly with a nurse. Thank you for doing your part to keep the community safe.
