Please be advised that a ban on Category 3 open burning will be implemented in the Kamloops Fire Centre beginning May 3.
KFC’s restrictions apply anywhere in its jurisdiction that is not governed by a fire protection bylaw.
Per policy, the Enderby & District Fire Department follows suit with KFC’s restrictions unless the Fire Chief directs otherwise, as this helps to avoid public confusion by harmonizing fire prevention measures.
As such, this fire ban applies to Enderby and area as well.
