BC Wildfire Service is currently responding to 3 fires in the Trinity Valley area: K42077, K42092, and K42099. All 3 fires are near Hidden Lake and range in size from spot to 3 ha.
K42092 was demonstrating fairly aggressive fire behaviour in slash on cutblocks. Crews, heavy equipment, and air tankers are working this fire.
K42099 is spot sized for now. Crews, heavy equipment, and air tankers are working this fire.
K42077 will be highly visible from the Enderby Mabel Lake road. Currently BC Wildfire Service has one helicopter and air tankers working this fire. The plan is to move people and equipment from K42099 and K42092 as they become available.
