Please note there is currently a potential cyanobacteria (algae) bloom in Shuswap Lake.
At this time, the reports show algae sticking close to shorelines at the Wharf in Salmon Arm and the Sunnybrae/Tappen area, but satellite imaging shows possible presence off shore and towards Sicamous as well.
Avoid swimming in this area and prevent pets from drinking the affected water.
