In order for BC Region to receive more CIS stock, we require applications and logs from IRAs be submitted so that we can account for those cards.
Fire Prevention Week is on October 9-15, 2016. The theme for this year’s Fire Prevention Week is “Don’t Wait – Check the Date! Replace Smoke Alarms Every 10 Years.”
The Fire Services Department is holding our annual Poster Contest for students during this week wherein students can submit a poster for the chance of winning prizes. 1st place wins a Pre-paid Visa gift card worth $100.00! Please see the attached Teacher Kit and Principle Kit documents for further information.
During Fire Prevention Week the FNESS Fire Services Department is holding our annual BC Poster Contest for First Nations’ students wherein students in Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8 can submit a fire prevention poster. Students that are in grades 9-12 must submit a multimedia project using the Fire Prevention Week’s theme.
As an incentive for students entering the poster contest, there are prizes awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of each age category. 1st place receives a $100.00 prepaid visa gift certificate; 2nd place is $50.00 prepaid visa gift certificate; 3rd place is $25.00 prepaid visa gift certificate.
Deadline:
The deadline for schools to submit posters to the FNESS North Vancouver office is November 30, 2016.
