The Wild Salmon Caravan is a grassroots social movement, and is entering into its 10th year of public arts and culture-based engagement on the topic of Indigenous Peoples food systems and wild salmon conservation. For thousands of years, wild salmon have been our most important Indigenous food and cultural and ecological keystone species. The health and integrity of Indigenous food systems depend on their wellbeing.
