Fire Restrictions Effective June 30

Effective starting at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, campfires, fireworks, and all open fires will be prohibited throughout British Columbia. See the latest restrictions here: http://bcfireinfo.for.gov.bc.ca/hprScripts/WildfireNews/Bans.asp

As the risk of wildfires in our area is extreme, it is recommended that community members prepare a Grab & Go Emergency Kit for each member of the family:

• Face mask and COVID-19 protective equipment
• Phone charger and battery bank
• Identification cards
• Personal medications
• Cash in small bills
• Traditional/cultural wellness kit (medicines)
