Home / COVID-19 Updates / COVID-19 Community Update 69
Splatsin currently has zero active cases and zero in self-isolation. We’re operating in Pandemic Risk Level 3: High. BC has launched phase 2 of the Immunization Plan. Eligible populations in phase 2 include:
Seniors aged 80 and over, and Aboriginal people aged 65 and over, can call to book immunization appointments starting on March 8 based on their year of birth. Learn more HERE. For band members living outside of the Interior Health region, learn more HERE.
Splatsin Health Services will be calling elders starting on Monday to get them the soonest available appointments.
In almost all cases it is safer to get the vaccine than to get COVID-19. If you are unsure if the vaccine is right for your health, contact one of our Registered Nurses or talk to your Doctor. If you don’t have a Doctor and would like to speak with one, try the FNHA Virtual Doctor of the Day Program HERE.
