Teira, a proud Splatsin Band Member, has successfully earned her Bachelor of Social Work Degree, and is now stepping into her role as Splatsin’s new Social Worker. She is eager to support and uplift our community through her work.

My name is Teira Joseph, and I am a band member here at Splatsin. I am the new Social Worker at the Splatsin Health Center.
My grandmother is Frankie Charlie (formally Frankie Joseph) from Splatsin and OKIB, and my grandfather is the late Melvin Joseph from Simpcw First Nation. My mother is Nerissa Joseph from Splatsin.
I have recently graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Social Work Degree with an Indigenous specialization.
I look forward to seeing everyone in the community. Kukwstsamc!
