Splatsin FireSmart Accepting Tenders for Upcoming Project

The Splatsin FireSmart team is accepting tenders from Splatsin Band Members for the Jackpine Operational Fuel Treatment (OFT) project on Enderby IR#2.

This project has a net area of 12.9 hectares and will include felling of danger trees, pruning, thinning, and piling of forest fuels.

The objective of this project is to reduce wildfire risk and to protect adjacent community values within the wildland urban interface.

Information packages are also available for pick up at the reception desk at the Splatsin Community Centre, located at 5767 Old Vernon Road, Enderby BC between October 23 at 8:30am and November 6, 2024 at 4:00pm.

Final tender submissions must be received by 12:00pm on November 7, 2024. The successful candidate will be notified by 4:00pm on November 7, 2024.
