Please be advised that a ban on Category 1 campfires will be implemented in the Kamloops Fire Centre beginning July 12, 2024.
Kukpi7 Christian and all Splatsin Council Members are in favour of implementing this fire ban as soon as possible due to the fire hazard.
Per policy, the Enderby & District Fire Department follows suit with KFC’s restrictions unless the Fire Chief directs otherwise, as this helps to avoid public confusion by harmonizing fire prevention measures.
