The Public Works Department is scheduled to flush hydrants during the week of May 27, 2024 (next week).
During the flushing process, low-pressure and discoloured water are common.
This discoloration is temporary and not a health hazard.
Public Works collect and test water routinely to ensure the water is safe.
If you notice any discoloration in your water, run your cold water taps until it runs clear. This should be done only after the crews have finished flushing in your area.
